EMB invites you to a lecture of Dr. Samaras, professor of the AUTH Physics department with the topic of "Non invasive electromagnetic brain simulation techniques". The lecture will take place on Thursday 13/12 at 15:45 in room A11 (East wing, basement of the Faculty of Sciences). There will be an introduction in the world of Bioelectromagnetism and its applications on the human body and especially the brain. Specifically, there will be reports on the basic brain functions and specific non invasive electromagnetic techniques for diagnosis and treatment of diseases, like the revolutionary method to treat brain tumours (NTMS).
